Originally built in 1959 by Athol and Merle Bailey, Baileys At The Beach has provided beachfront accommodation in Whitianga for 56 Years.

Baileys At The Beach is situated directly across the road from Buffalo Beach. We offer 9 well equipped units for couples, families/friends and corporate guests. Every room has a beautiful view to watch the stunning sunrises or just sit and relax on your private patio or balcony and watch the world go by.

Buffalo Beach has a myriad of moods, one day the sea is calm and placid and other days you will find surfers making the most of the waves, so depending on your mood, we offer free use of our kayaks or boogie boards for our guests.

The centre of town is an easy 15 minute stroll along the boardwalk (that's if your not distracted by the beauty of the beach and sea along the way). Enjoy the local shopping, Whitianga has quirky and unique shops to discover. Find yourself relaxing and enjoying local cuisine at one of many cafes and restaurants.
