Baileys At The Beach is situated directly across the road from Buffalo Beach. We offer 9 well equipped units, ideal for couples, families/friends and corporate guests. Each room has a beautiful view to sit and watch the stunning sunrises while enjoying your morning coffee or relax with a book in the late afternoon.

Originally built in 1959 by Athol and Merle Bailey, Baileys At The Beach has provided beachfront accommodation in Whitianga for 56 Years.

Buffalo Beach has a myriad of moods, one day the sea is calm and placid and other days you will find surfers, kite surfers and stand up paddle boarders making the most of the waves, so depending on your mood, we offer free use of our kayaks, stand up paddle boards and boogie boards for our guests.

We are situated 1.3km (3 min drive) from the town centre or an easy 20-30 minute stroll along the boardwalk (that's if you're not distracted by the picture postcard views along the way). Enjoy local shopping, Whitianga has quirky and unique shops to discover. Find yourself relaxing and enjoying local cuisine at one of many cafes and restaurants.
