Payment

• Payment in full is required on check in - cash, Visa, MasterCard and EFTPOS are accepted.

Check in / Check out

• Check in time is usually from 2.00pm - other times may be available by arrangement.
• Check out time is by 10.00am unless prior arrangements are made for a late checkout.                                                                                                        Charges may apply.

Cancellation

• Cancellations within 7 calendar days or less of the day of arrival or a no show will incur a 100% charge for every room night cancelled.
• Cancellations between 8 calendar days and 14 calendar days prior to the day of arrival will incur a 50% charge for every room night cancelled.
• Cancellations between 15 calendar days and 30 calendar days prior to the day of arrival will incur a 10% charge for every room night cancelled.
• A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total booking is required for all bookings within 30 days of the day of arrival.

For other than the above periods, the following applies:

• Cancellations within 1 calendar day of the day of arrival or a no show will incur a 100% charge for every room night cancelled.
• Cancellations within 2 calendar days of the day of arrival will incur a 20% charge for every room night cancelled.
• Cancellations within 30 calendar days of arrival will incur a 10% charge for every room night cancelled.

Notice of cancellation prior to arrival must be provided by either email (info@baileysmotel.co.nz) or telephone (+64  7 866 5500). The cancellation and any charges applicable will be subsequently acknowledged by us either by email or telephone.

Bookings

• A valid credit card or bank deposit at the time of booking is required to secure all bookings.
• Group bookings may require a non-refundable deposit in addition to the above to secure the booking. Please discuss this with us when making the booking.

Child Policy - under 1 year of age, no charge. 1 year and over, normal rates.

Additional Person Charge - $25.00 per person per night.

Food / Cooking Odours

Residual lingering food odours may be offensive to subsequent guests, therefore cooking of odiferous pungent foods such as shell fish, seafood, strong curries etc. are not permitted in our units.                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Management reserves the right to charge the guest a minimum of one night's accommodation for extra cleaning and loss of revenue if the unit is tainted by food odours.

Cleaning / Damage / Breakages

Management reserves the right to charge the guest for any additional cleaning, deodorising, damage or breakages caused by them.                                                           This includes the right to charge the guest for additional accommodation costs for loss of revenue due to additional cleaning, deodorising, damage or breakages. 

Overdue Accounts

• Interest may be charged on overdue accounts.
• The customer will be responsible for any Collection Costs.

Changes to these Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at our discretion. Please check with us when making the booking.

Acceptance

By making a booking for Baileys at the Beach, the guest(s) accept the above terms and conditions.
